China Customs GACC Decree 248

From Jan 1, 2022, All overseas food manufacturers, exporters and Chinese importers need to register with the GACC, and manufacturer GACC registration number must be printed on the Chinese label of imported food !

In April 2021, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) released 2 regulations, GACC Decree 248 and GACC Decree 249; The GACC Decree 248 require all overseas food manufacturers, exporters and Chinese importers to register with the GACC. GACC Decree 249, require the GACC registration number must be printed on the Chinese label of imported food ! Both Decree 248 and Decree 249 are slated to enter into force on January 1, 2022.
